Recycle for a Reason

Recycle for a Reason

Our Mission

Computer Depot Inc. offers absolutely free recycling for your old technology. Most electronics and computers contain hardware with metals that have to be disposed of correctly. Not only does this help you rid your storage space of clutter, but it also helps to protect our environment and our community.

Receive $100.00 in Trade for Functioning Laptops!

So what happens to your stuff after it is brought to Computer Depot?

After inspecting your recyclables, we make our decision as to whether the systems can be rebuilt, used for testing, or sent out for complete recycling.

Computer Depot Inc. has always stood out in the retail and repair business, but we have now developed a program that is very unique. Your donation of used systems and parts could help non-for-profit businesses and philanthropists continue their work!

These days, it is getting harder and harder to get things done without computers, printers, and communication devices. That is why Computer Depot developed Recycle for a Reason.

We will now be accepting applications from non-for-profit organizations to receive our refurbished technology.

Who We’ve Worked With –

The first applicant to receive a computer from Recycle for a Reason! The Banda’s!

Recycle donation

Tresford Banda and family, are missionaries from Namibia, Africa. An application was filed on their behalf, by another customer, who is hosting their family in the States.

To list some of their accomplishments:  Tresford and Fabiola work with the regional and National leadership team in Namibia to distribute shoebox gifts, and Tresford is a Minister. They are currently building their own church in by hand with a brick making machine given to them on loan. Their ministry includes many widows and orphans, as alcoholism and Aids are rampant in Arandis.

Computer Depot donation

Our second recipient of equipment from Recycle for a Reason was the Catons Chapel Fire Department. We met one of the firefighters at a school function for technology, and he put us in touch with Tony Ortiz. Tony let us know that the Volunteer Fire Department was in need of some equipment, and Computer Depot was more than happy  to help out the fire house and it’s community. Pictured above is Thomas (Computer Depot Inc. Owner) dropping off the equipment and chatting with the Volunteers. Computer Depot Inc. thanks CCFD for there service, and is proud to be a part of keeping it running!
