New Computers and Equipment:
All new computers include a 3-year warranty on both Parts and Labor. Additional warranties may be purchased at time of sale at the cost of $79 per year. All New equipment includes a 1-year warranty. Additional manufacturer’s warranty may be available, see a sales associate for more information. During this warranty period, (short of virus infections – Ask about our Virus Free Guarantee) virtually everything is covered under warranty. All repair work and warranty replacements are completed in our office normally within 24 hours Most New computer configurations are available for pick-up in less than 48 hours. Other configurations are available by special order.
Used Computers and Equipment:
All Used computer systems and equipment include a 6 month Computer Depot warranty. This warranty covers hardware only. Used software or software found on a used computer includes no warranty. Most used computers can be upgraded to a 1-year warranty at the time of purchase for $79. Used computers come with CPU, keyboard and mouse. Used computers normally do not include software unless specified on receipt. Used computers cannot be returned for refund, however within the 6 month warranty period full purchase price can be applied to another new or used computer. All used computer parts are tested good at Computer Depot, however any parts sold over the counter to be installed by the customer are sold as-is with no warranty.
Repairs and Upgrades:
Quality Diagnostic Services are $89. Simply drop your computer off at our shop and we will perform a complete diagnostic service on your system. During normal workloads we will then call back within a few days and advise you as to what needs to be done and what the exact repair cost will be. Once we quote you a repair price we stick to it. In some unusual circumstances if your repair bill turns out to be more than we originally quoted you have the option to request that repair work cease. All components installed during a repair or upgrade includes a one-year warranty on both parts and labor. We do not force you to settle your warranty issues with the manufacturer. The $89 Diagnostic fee will be applied to the quoted cost of repair.
Shelf space in the store is limited therefore any computer left for more than 30 days without contact from customer will be sold.
Computer Depot Inc. accepts cash, Visa, Master Card, and Discover, with proper ID. We also accept company checks. If payment is returned due to insufficient funds, stop payment, or any other reason the account will automatically be turned over to collections and you will be responsible for all bank charges, returned check fees, collection fees and any lawyer’s fees.
Computer Depot Inc. is not responsible for data loss under any circumstances. The customer is solely responsible for backing up data prior to dropping computer off at Computer Depot Inc. Data recovery services offered at Computer Depot Inc. come with no warranty or guarantee whatsoever.
