“To Android, or not to Android…”

The Android Decision

This article has some really good advice. Always remember – You are never going to keep up with the “latest and greatest” technology. If you have it, you will only have it for one day. Tomorrow, there will be something new. Still–now is pretty much the worst time to purchase an Android smartphone. (No, I am not suggesting you go out and buy a creepy phone with some girl locked inside instead.) Apparently, the upcoming generation of Android phones are going to rock the pants off the current generation. Complaints about battery life, camera quality, and performance on smartphones may soon greatly dissipate on Android smartphones. HTC’s One X and One S, Samsung’s Galaxy III, and others are in the works and are staged to be an enormous leap over the previous generation.

I personally have an HTC Evo 4G, and let me tell you–the Honeymoon period is over. I loved it for a long time, and it is still the best phone I’ve ever had… but after about a year, it’s starting to show some issues. My burning desire is to go out and purchase a new one, but after reading this article, I’m going to take some wise advice and wait. I suggest you do the same. It will be worth it.

True (Android) love waits, at least for the time being.
